Playin' Catch Up

Sorry all - I've gotten quite busy lately and have neglected my blog! Yikes!

Let me start by saying that I am having a buy one get one 1/2 off sale (equal or lesser value) all weekend long, so if you'd like to do some gift shopping now's a good time! Offer INCLUDES sale section too! How can ya beat that?

My newest additions to my shop are some keychains (already sold some of those - they are pretty cute) and also some new little snowflake pieces - yep, gettin' ready for winter already!

Oh, and on a personal note, we are building a new home and the basement is done and the trusses were delivered today and they will start framing next week! Yippee!

It's PARTY time!!

That's right and you can get beautiful jewelry for FREE!! Here's how:

This idea of an online party is so that you and your friends can shop on your own time, on your own computer and then submit your order to the hostess to place at the end of the week. (not everyone huddled around one computer looking at the same time)

That's right - I've found a very cool Etsy shop that features plenty of handcrafted ceramic buttons! This multi-talented artist is a professional textile practitioner who specializes in embroidery and also loves to draw.

I have fallen in love with her buttons and especially like the 'Dark blue moon Upperty eve' button. She has a wonderful variety and the flower buttons are awesome! Long Time, No See

Wow, I've neglected my little blog here, huh? Sorry about that! Life is quite busy between helping to run our home based business, homeschooling our child and trying to make new pieces of jewelry for my shop!

I am happy to say that I do have several new pieces in my shop - something fresh is always great isn't it? Be sure to check out the 3 piece set called 'Sophistication' - it is beautiful!

At least I hope you will! I have been busy making and adding new pieces to my webshop and I hope you'll take a few minutes to come by and see!

I have several new pairs of earrings - all reasonably priced I might add - as well as a gorgeous new "dressy" anklet with burgandy glass, peridot crystal squares, white wave crystal pearls and all hanging from a very pretty gold filled chain. It is sooo pretty!

Fun and Happy Art!

Today's focus is on ART! This Etsy shop has some of the happiest and uplifting art pieces that I have seen so far. When I am feeling sad, I go to her store and browse her pieces and instantly feel a lift in my spirits!

She has over 20 years experience in graphic design and is currently teaching art at a Catholic school. She has beautiful pen and ink drawings in a nice large 8x10 size in addition to vibrant and colorful paintings as well. She also offers her pictures in card form as well as collectible ACEO's.

New Earrings!

Yep, I've been on an earring making spree and I am trying to list a couple pairs each day! Let's see, I've made some super cute ones that look like little mints that are red and white, another pair of gold filled hoops with beautiful natural amber rounds and tigers eye beads, a very pretty pair with yellow-ish shimmery shell beads and small yellow jade..........I've also made a couple of pairs today that I will be listing tomorrow.

Earrings are fabulous as they make such great gifts! You don't have to worry about sizing since earrings will fit anyone, they are very affordable and therefore allows your collection of them to continually grow and they are super easy to wrap!

Today's spotlight is on another fabulous Etsy shop and she specializes in stained glass pieces and more! She has been creating stained glass art for 20yrs and continues to take classes to learn how to manipulate glass in different ways.

For the stained glass art she uses both the copper foil and lead cane methods. She also makes dichronic glass earrings and pendants along with beautiful fused glass pendants as well. She has such a large and lovely variety of pieces to choose from!

Okay, so I'm not good at blogging and am going to give this another shot. I would like to add some of the super shops that I have come across on ETSY to give them some extra exposure if I can figure out how to do it!

Etsy is a large site with tons of talented artists and crafters who sell their items to the public.
I have purchased several things myself since coming across Etsy and I love each item that I have gotten.

On another note............we are getting ready to build a new home and we are getting excited about that! (Wanna buy our current house?) LOL

Allergy Season is Here!

Good morning to all! Well here on the east coast, the pollen is becoming abundant and everyone's allergies are starting to kick in. Flowers are blooming and bees are buzzing. How about where you live? My white car is now coated in yellow. So.......with the beauty of spring comes the miserableness of allergies. For us, we are noticing the tiredness from it. Soon will come the itchy throat, ears, eyes......A good remedy to help fight this? For me, I have found a great little homeopathic remedy from -Heel BHI simply called "Allergy". I carry a bottle with me during allergy season and just let one little tablet dissolve in my mouth and it quickly rids my symptoms. I use it as often as my symptoms are bothering me. Sometimes, when they are accute, I will have to take more than one. But it is simple, easy and I don't go anywhere without them this time of year! I also make sure that I have a good vitamin C to take as well and it always helps. I use Emer-gen-cy - it is a vitamin C product that dissolves in a little glass of water. It comes in many flavors and helps very quickly as well. So get outside, enjoy the beautiful weather and stiffle those allergies! Happy spring!
